Within this module, discussed the most controversial topic of higher education. Many people try to determine the many opportunities higher education offers. What does higher education offer? Higher education offers many skill sets that are thought to benefit you in the future within the professional field. However, in the articles Are Colleges Worth the Price of Admission and The New Liberal Arts discusses the advantages and disadvantages of higher education. In the article Are Colleges Worth the Price of Admission, elaborated on the staggering increase in tuition. Students not only bare the heavy burden of studies, identity, but as well as debt. Unfortunately, financial aid does not cover the overall cost of higher education as it did in the past.
